Wherepoint app for iPhone and iPad

The purpose of the Wherepoint app is pure and simple: to help people locate one another.

You can directly find someone by guided heading or a map—an arrow and the distance between the you and the other party appears until one or both parties stops. For safety precautions, there will be a “red light-green light” feature, where the user must green light another user in order to track each other’s location. That way, only the people you trust will be able to connect with you on Wherepoint.

The app also provides a waypoint feature to remember your location -such as your car in a large parking lot. Have you ever parked your car in a massive parking garage, only to realize you completely forgot where you parked? With the press of a button, you’ll be guided right back to your car!

A user can also set a “point” on the map, and multiple users can be guided directly to that spot. This would work marvelously with friends at a busy concert, or even a lost device. Never lose your friends again at a busy sporting event, beach, or any other busy public area.
